A Florida Bar disciplinary case to determine punishment for Adorno & Yoss co-founder Henry Adorno in a botched class action settlement is heading for trial Tuesday before a Fort Lauderdale judge as the Bar pushes for a suspension of his law license.
Broward Circuit Judge Jack Tuter ruled Fridaythat Adorno violated Bar rules by orchestrating a $7 million class action settlement that benefitted only seven people rather than all Miami taxpayers. The case stemmed from a 6-year-old suit against the city of Miami challenging an unconstitutional fire fee.
