The Miami-Dade County Commission has approved the expansion of the city of Miami’s Omni Community Redevelopment Agency north of Downtown Miami.
The 6-5 vote came Thursday after Miami City officials threatened to stop paying the mortgage on the county’s Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts.
