An asbestos liability trial in the death of prominent Miami attorney Milton M. Ferrell Jr. ended in a mistrial Friday after the jury deadlocked.

Coral Gables attorney James Ferraro, who represents Ferrell’s widow, Lori, argued the head of Ferrell Law died of mesothelioma in 2008 because he had been exposed decades earlier to asbestos in products made by Honeywell International’s brake-manufacturing subsidiary Bendix.
