A federal judge has thrown out claims totaling $1.8 million against the Swire Group, the developer of Brickell Key near downtown Miami.

U.S. District Judge Adalberto Jordan rejected condo buyer Manuel Soltero’s claims the developer and one of its agents misled him when he paid $1.7 million for a unit in Swire’s Carbonell on Brickell Key in 2005.
