Bob Fitzsimmons, a partner with Rumberger Kirk & Caldwell in Miami, has been appointed lead counsel for drywall installers in federal multidistrict litigation involving tainted Chinese drywall.

Federal cases filed nationally have been assembled before U.S. District Judge Eldon Fallon in New Orleans, and he has heard one trial that produced a $2.6 million award for seven Virginia homes against a Chinese drywall maker.
