South Florida voters will decide 28 judicial elections this year, and a record-setting 20 are in Broward County.

With moments to spare, Broward County Judge Lee Jay Seidman set up a race with Assistant Public Defender Sandra Perlman by filing for the seat held by Circuit Judge Cheryl Aleman, who did not file qualifying papers. A total of 11 circuit races and nine county court races will be on the ballot.
