Setting the price of a double cheeseburger is within Burger King’s authority, but the king’s subjects may yet argue he did not act in good faith, a Miami federal judge has found.
U.S. District Judge K. Michael Moore agreed with the Coral Gables-based fast-food retailer that it had the right to cap the burger price as part of its Value Menu. But the judge allowed the National Franchisee Association to pursue its claim that the corporation acted in bad faith.
