At the height of the real estate market, Gerard Yetming was involved in some of the biggest apartment deals in South Florida as condo converters snapped up properties.

But after the market crashed, deals were scarce, and Yetming had to do something to generate income. The savings the former CB Richard Ellis broker built during the boom were rapidly evaporating. It was time to make a career change, but one that wasn’t a complete break from real estate.
