The Miami Parking Authority is set to decide if it will sell a Design District parcel to a developer for a future parking garage or hold off until a November vote that could lead to the city gaining direct control of the agency.

The Miami Parking Authority’s board is scheduled to vote today on whether to sell a 31,520-square-feet parcel at 3800 NE First Ave. to Dacra president Craig Robins. Robins wants to build a 400-space garage to serve the parking-deficient district.
