The Florida Supreme Court reopened a closed case based on an apparent docketing delay by the Broward clerk’s office.
A Lauderhill plastic surgery clinic appealed to the Supreme Court after the 4th District Court of Appeal ruled the clinic was bound by the time stamp from the clerk’s office. The clinic, Strax Rejuvenation, wanted to contest a trial court decision rejecting arbitration in a patient dispute.
