A $10 million Facebook fundraising contest sponsored by the national retailer Kohl’s turned charity into litigation when two Jewish schools in Broward County pulled their support from a third.

Abi’s Place, a small school in Coral Springs for special needs children, filed a lawsuit Sept. 27 against Hebrew Academy Community School and Rohr Bais Chaya Academy, claiming they reneged on an oral contract to support it in the online vote drive.
