For the fifth time this month in Florida, cigarette makers won over a jury in a smoker’s case.
A Broward Circuit Court jury Thursday favored Philip Morris USA, R.J. Reynolds, Lorillard Tobacco and Liggett, finding the smoker plaintiff was fully responsible for his smoking choices. Arthur Rohr smoked a pack a day for 50 years and died of lung cancer just before his 86th birthday.
