One wound resulting from the downfall of Ponzi scheme mastermind Scott Rothstein was the taint left on the appointment process for Florida’s judicial nominating commissions.
In the weeks following news of Rothstein’s wrongdoing, Gov. Charlie Crist was embarrassed by the fact he had appointed the disgraced lawyer and campaign donor to a seat on the 4th District Court of Appeal’s JNC.
