Defunct law firm Wolf Block is seeking more than $1.6 million from 49 former partners who have refused to pay back distributions made in the two months before the firm voted to dissolve.

Some of those former partners have filed responses in arbitration, laying out their view of the demise of the Philadelphia-based firm, according to filings obtained by the Legal Intelligencer.
