In a ruling that could impact construction disputes in South Florida, the 3rd District Court of Appeal ruled that a trial judge erred when she discharged a contractor’s liens against a developer.
Miami-based CDC Builders had appealed a Miami-Dade Circuit judge’s ruling that tossed out a construction lien the contractor filed against developer Riviera Almeria and two affiliate companies after a Coral Gables townhouse project stalled.
