Shutts & Bowen is preparing for significant expansion of its West Palm Beach office, starting with the addition of four senior lawyers and five staffers this month.

The Florida firm is picking up two lawyers from Ruden McClosky: business litigator Eric Christu and real estate lawyer Steven Parson. Timothy Monaghan and Joel Strawn are coming from the health care firm Strawn and Monaghan. A fifth lateral is expected to be announced next week, and Shutts is in negotiations with several other lawyers, said Arthur Menor, managing partner of the firm’s West Palm office.
