A federal judge has exonerated Fort Lauderdale cardiologist and prominent Republican fundraiser Zachariah Zachariah on civil charges he used insider information to make $1 million in illegal stock profits in 2005.
The Securities and Exchange Commission accused Zachariah of making the money in stock trading on Miami-based Ivax and Sarasota-based Correctional Services Corp.
