Florida users of the cold remedy Zicam who lost their sense of smell may have a new court option, following an appeals court ruling on the admissibility of expert testimony.

Matrixx Initiatives, maker of Zicam, has been plagued by lawsuits over the past six years because of allegations an ingredient in the product permanently damages a user’s sense of taste and smell.
