Jury selection began Tuesday in the damage phase of a Palm Beach County class action to determine what the state should pay homeowners who lost their citrus trees in a failed attempt to eradicate citrus canker.
The state’s liability was established in a 2007 trial, and Circuit Judge Robin Rosenberg is presiding over the new trial on financial damages only.
