A corporate officer who committed a felony that damaged her employer should not be able to collect millions of dollars in legal defense costs, a Venezuelan bank argued before the Florida Supreme Court.
Banco Industrial de Venezuela lost that argument in Miami-Dade Circuit Court during a bench trial, and the 3rd District Court of Appeal upheld the decision in 2009.
