While statistics only hint that office leasing is recovering, broker Barbara LeBrun thinks the year-plus spent living off her savings is finally behind her.

“Six or eight months ago, the phones weren’t even ringing,” said LeBrun, a broker at Merin Hunter Codman in West Palm Beach. “A lot of newcomers [brokers] were flushed out of the industry.”
