Petia Dimitrova Knowles was found guilty of threatening criminal charges against the husband when she represented the wife in a divorce case. When questioned about billing $250 an hour in attorney fees, she also claimed to be a family law specialist when she was not certified in family law.
The Supreme Court accepted the referee’s findings and reprimand recommendation 6-1.
