With 3,738 lawyers in 60 offices, Baker & McKenzie once again topped the NLJ 250, the National Law Journal’s list of the largest 250 U.S.-based firms by attorney head count.
But Baker & McKenzie drops far down the list when only lawyers based in the United States are counted. By that metric, Jones Day is the nation’s largest firm, with 1,803 attorneys based here. On the original NLJ 250, the firm ranks No. 3.
