A jury found a restaurant was not to blame for a patron fracturing his nose after walking into a glass panel.

Thomas Burke entered Elephant Bar Restaurant in Fort Myers through double glass doors to speak with the hostess. After speaking with her, Burke turned around and walked into a glass panel next to the door, fracturing his nose. He has a scar on his face and claimed he sustained nerve damage. Burke claimed the glass panel lacked any visual cues that would have alerted him to it.
