A jury awarded more than $1.2 million for injuries a woman claimed after two rear-end collisions on the same roadway.

In 2004, Holli Thorne was struck by Eric Wiseman. In 2006, she was struck by Daniel Thomas. She claimed soft-tissue injuries to her neck and mid-back following the 2004 crash and received conservative treatment. Following the 2006 crash, she claimed jaw pain, cervical herniations, a rotator cuff tear of the left shoulder and right knee injuries. She underwent surgery on her cervical spine, left shoulder and right knee.
