“It’s a huge loss to our court. She’s been on the bench over 20 years,” Chief Circuit Judge Peter Blanc said.
Maass did not offer an explanation for her decision to leave, but Blanc noted she is in good health. Maass, who was not in court last week, notified Scott on May 13, Blanc said.
