A lawsuit claiming an Argentina law firm was swindled out of millions of dollars by Miami attorney Jeremy Alters and his firm will move forward after Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Jennifer Bailey denied a motion to dismiss the case Monday.
The lawsuit filed by law firm Campos y Asociados and lawyer Adrian Campos accuses Alters and his firm of abandoning a 2008 collaboration agreement. The foreign firm promised to develop business for Alters in Argentina and refer clients to him in exchange for a fee of $30,000 a month for two years.
