Calling it one of his primary causes as incoming president of The Florida Bar, West Palm Beach litigator Scott Hawkins has established a commission to study whether The Bar needs to beef up its disciplinary procedures.
But some lawyers say what is needed is quick action to weed out bad lawyers, not another commission to spend months studying lawyer discipline.
