The full 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled a Florida couple’s rights were violated when officers entered their garage.
But the court’s 8-4 decision issued June 3 doesn’t allow the couple to collect any damages for the intrusion, and a group of dissenters complain the decision won’t help protect others from similar intrusions.
