A Boca Raton attorney who served as a closing and title agent has been disbarred for failing to document more than $16 million in disbursements from his escrow account to a West Palm Beach man indicted in a federal mortgage fraud scheme.
Andrew Marc David lost his law license for failing to record and pay off mortgages while a member of Attorney’s Title Insurance Fund, "resulting in title insurance claims made against the fund and significant losses to the fund," a Florida Bar referee found.
