The other shoe has dropped — the bankruptcy court trustee for Rothstein Rosenfeldt Adler filed a lawsuit against TD Bank, essentially calling the New England-based bank the primary enabler in the $1.2 billion Ponzi scheme.
Herbert Stettin, trustee of remnants of Scott Rothstein’s law firm, makes claims similar to those made by victims that invested in Rothstein’s fictitious sales of settlement accounts.
