Palm Beach Circuit Judge Lisa Small, who was assigned as The Florida Bar referee in the disciplinary case against foreclosure attorney David Stern, offered disclosures Tuesday about her past dealings with The Florida Bar.
Stern attorney Jeffrey Tew of Tew Cardenas in Miami said he needed to confer with his absent client to determine whether he would object to Small presiding over his case.
