The governor appointed four Miami-Dade judges Wednesday, filling two circuit seats with a county judge and the chair of Miami’s police watchdog panel and naming two public corruption prosecutors as county court judges.

Broad and Cassel partner Thomas Rebull, 40, who leads the civilian investigative panel that reviews misconduct complaints against Miami police officers, was named to the circuit bench, and domestic violence Judge Rosa Figarola, 52, was elevated after serving a decade on the county court bench.
