The Florida Supreme Court ruled Thursday in favor of State Farm Insurance, vindicating a household exclusion clause challenged by an auto insurance policyholder and family members who did not live with her.

The high court refereed a conflict between the 3rd District Court of Appeal, which found the policy language ambiguous and favored the policyholder, and a 4th DCA decision on the same issue with the opposite conclusion.
