A Miami solo practitioner’s law license was suspended for a year Thursday by the Florida Supreme Court for improperly soliciting clients in a proposed class action.
The decision exceeded the 90-day suspension recommended by the referee for Jane Marie Letwin. The high court explained the stiffer punishment was due to her pattern of misconduct.
