Assistant U.S. Attorney Jacqueline Arango has joined Akerman Senterfitt as a shareholder in the firm’s litigation practice group in Miami.

Arango was deputy chief of the public integrity, national security and civil rights section, overseeing public corruption and civil rights matters. She has tried more than 50 cases and prosecuted federal, state and local officials on bribery, conflict of interest, embezzlement and extortion charges.
