U.S. District Judge Adalberto Jordan, who has been nominated for a seat on the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, was asked his views about his intended destination in an appearance before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee.

U.S. Sen. Mike Lee, a Republican from Utah, asked if Jordan felt the appellate court reversed judges more since they were allowed to treat federal sentencing guidelines as advisory rather than mandatory.
