Suspended attorney Jeffrey Abramowitz pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court Tuesday to charges of embezzling funds from his clients and filing a false tax return.

Abramowitz, 48, pleaded guilty to three of the counts in an 11-count indictment that accused him of embezzling more than $1 million from his own clients and his former law partner.
