Developers Elias and Abraham Cababie are on the hook for a loan they obtained during the real estate boom, but when they’ll have to make good on the distressed loan is still uncertain.

On Wednesday, U.S. District Court Judge Paul C. Huck backed lender MUNB Loan Holdings, which sued the brothers, who head Aventura-based Cabi Developers, to recover about $15 million.
