After three years on the lam, a Long Island attorney who disappeared amid allegations he looted over $200,000 from a client escrow account has been captured some 1,800 miles away in Wyoming.

Edward A. Christensen, 61, faces up to 15 years in prison on charges of second-degree grand larceny and first-degree scheme to defraud. Picked up while hitchhiking on a highway in Laramie County on Oct. 4, Mr. Christensen was extradited and entered a plea of not guilty on Thursday in Nassau County Supreme Court.
