A jury decided a car dealership was not to blame for a rollover accident that killed the driver of a sport utility vehicle.

In 2004, Rachel Martin, 20, swerved her 1999 Oldsmobile Bravada to avoid striking an animal, causing the vehicle to roll over. Her head struck the ground several times, resulting in her death. Martin’s family claimed Holler Enterprises was negligent for placing the vehicle on the market with defective designs. They claimed the SUV should have had its roof reinforced and been equipped with electronic stability control.
