Although Miami-Dade County won’t be holding a straw vote to gauge voter sentiment for large-scale casinos, county commissioners are set to tell state lawmakers what issues they want addressed in gambling bills now before the Legislature.
Late Tuesday, commissioners completed a wish list of items that, if incorporated into gambling legislation, could win their support for the mega-casino resorts.
