Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Gimenez said at a daylong forum on casinos that he wants a gaming bill that would give the county total control over the design of a casino.

He wants the county to be able to determine the size of casino destination resorts, the number of jobs they create, the number of hotel rooms they contain, the size of the conference space and the taxes they would pay to the local government.
