A federal judge has rejected motions to intervene by two Argentinean law firms claiming a slice of the $123 million in legal fees set aside when Bank of America settled an overdraft class action.
Senior U.S. District Judge James Lawrence King on Friday denied the motions by Raponi & Hunter and Campos y Asociados. King awarded the fees as he approved the $410 million settlement in November without specifying how the money should be divvied up.
