A state appeals court has rejected an attempt by a Boynton Beach obstetrician to get out of a medical malpractice suit in a pregnant woman’s death.

The 4th District Court of Appeal on Wednedsay reversed a summary judgment granted by Palm Beach Circuit Judge Thomas H. Barkdull III to Dr. Allan J. Dinnerstein, who claimed sovereign immunity in the death of Ludana Prophete.
