Andres Fernandez moved to western Miami-Dade a decade ago enticed by the agricultural environment and the prospect of raising animals.
For years, he enjoyed semi-domesticating American bison, steers and brahma bulls, among other large animals. He said the best part was lying on the grass with a bison resting its head on his lap.
