A Newton, Massachusetts-based real estate investment trust bought four Class A senior housing facilities in Broward and Palm Beach counties for nearly $150 million.
An affiliate of the publicly traded Senior Housing Properties Trust paid $45 million for the Vi, formerly Classic Residence by Hyatt, in Hollywood with 359 units; $29 million for the Vi in Plantation with 271 units; $18 million for the Vi in Pompano Beach with 169 units; and about $50 million for the Vi in Boca Raton with 214 units. The Boca Raton deal has yet to be recorded with the Palm Beach property records. Chicago-based Pritzker Realty Group was the seller last week.
