Genting Group has no firm timetable for seeking permits for a mixed use project north of downtown Miami. But the resort developer has already assembled a lobbying dream team of land-use and zoning attorneys and politically savvy real estate executives.

Their job: work closely with elected officials and city of Miami and Miami-Dade County staff to make sure the proposed 10 million-square-foot project on 14 acres doesn’t run into any bureaucratic roadblocks.
