While Lennar’s yearly earnings declined, the unit that includes communities from Vero Beach to Homestead enjoyed a surge in sales, the Miami-based home-builder said Wednesday.
Management said the company’s Southeast Florida division delivered 904 homes during the fiscal year that ended Nov. 30, up 68 percent from 2010. In the fourth quarter of 2011, the Southeast division delivered 331 homes, a 38 percent increase over the same 2010 period.
