Attorneys for flight attendants in a long-settled class action over exposure to secondhand cigarette smoke sought Wednesday to overturn an order disqualifying them as counsel.

Philip Gerson of Gerson & Schwartz in Miami argued before the 3rd District Court of Appeal that Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Jerald Bagley abused his discretion when he ejected lawyers in the case named for the lead plaintiff, Norma R. Broin.
